What's a buckeye? It's a tree, or so we thought until a helpful Ohioan wrote to tell us the real deal:
"When Ohioans think of Buckeyes, they're thinking of the little shiny brown nuts of the Buckeye tree, not the tree itself. These little brown nuts are unfortunately poisonous. But the good news is that a popular local confection in Ohio is the peanut butter and chocolate buckeye. This is basically a little ball of peanut butter dough that is dipped almost completely in chocolate, so that it looks like a buckeye nut."
You'll have an unforgettable experience while doing your part to make our country a better place. Help America change gears!
