Syllabic Butterflies - September 02, 2004

So I've finally been inspired to write something up here...

the butterflies
fall from the sky
my sister loves
to watch them dive
she reaches for
a butterfly
landmine explodes
inside her hand
my tongue soaks in
the piercing pain
the bitter taste
of metal rain
she hits the ground
not knowing why
i have no clue
why she's to die
