Why am I taking a trip? During the past two years, I've become very frustrated with the Bush Administration's aggressive assault on our environment. As I've become re-engaged in our political process I've become infuriated with Bush's broad assault on the many progressive rights that make our country so great....civil rights, women's rights, working rights, environmental rights, gay rights, constitutional rights, and the right not to be misled into placing our uniformed young men and women in needless jeopardy. Bush is certain to win here in Texas, but I am determined to work towards precluding his winning in the key swing states that we can visit with our Driving Votes team here in Texas.

Conspiracy Mania? - September 19, 2004

The Kennedy Assassination, Man on the Moon, Elvis’s Death…..The 2000 Florida Results, Bush/Bin Laden Family Relationship and now the most recent Gallup Poll. Four years of the Bush Administration have provided ample ammunition for those who easily succumb to conspiracy theories of one sort or another.

Lately, I’m beginning to believe there may really be coordination occurring by the media and interested corporations to protect the Bush Administration. However, I’m not quite sure what the driving force or interest might be.

If you are like me and had a difficult time understanding how Bush’s lead has been growing in the last few Gallup Polls, take a look at this post. Make sure you take a look at the comments from Zogby at the link to his web site. Sure makes you wonder why Gallup is taking such an unorthodox approach than other pollsters.

The infuriating thing is that people read these skewed polls and let it affect their enthusiasm for the Kerry campaign and upcoming election. I’ve seen it the last few days as I’ve canvassed and spoke to people. WE ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT LET THAT HAPPEN.
