Why am I organizing in my swing state?
I'm not sure if every generation over the millennia has had the same feeling, but I think that the current state of civilization is perhaps more critical and severe than it has ever been. Bush and his cronies have done nothing but blatantly catalyze this severity. And all at the expense of me and my fellow citizens. That upsets me. I'm not sure if the world can handle four more years of lunacy. In 2000, Bush "won" Florida and the presidency by 537 votes (that is, if you don't count the thrown out votes). I want to do everything I can to make sure that on November 3rd, Georgie will be stumped trying to figure out how he possibly could have lost.

About me:
I just got a BA in Biological Psychology. By day, I work with folks with mental illness, helping them find employment. By night, I'm Batman. Not really, but that would be fun. At any rate, I also work with a non-profit to register voters locally.

Read postings by members of the Driving Votes community. We've each got different opinions but we're all behind beating Bush!
Plan a trip to register swing voters in swing states.
