Why am I organizing in my swing state? I'm not sure if every generation over the millennia has had the same feeling, but I think that the current state of civilization is perhaps more critical and severe than it has ever been. Bush and his cronies have done nothing but blatantly catalyze this severity. And all at the expense of me and my fellow citizens. That upsets me. I'm not sure if the world can handle four more years of lunacy. In 2000, Bush "won" Florida and the presidency by 537 votes (that is, if you don't count the thrown out votes). I want to do everything I can to make sure that on November 3rd, Georgie will be stumped trying to figure out how he possibly could have lost.

About me: I just got a BA in Biological Psychology. By day, I work with folks with mental illness, helping them find employment. By night, I'm Batman. Not really, but that would be fun. At any rate, I also work with a non-profit to register voters locally.

Well, the RV caravan is coming to town on Monday. And so is a freaking hurricane. I think maybe Halliburton might have something to do with the whole thing. Matt suggested that a fleet of Bush battleships is driving in circles in the Atlantic to thwart our efforts. Possibly. Anyway, they're essentially telling Florida to relocate to the gulf side for the weekend. I say, stick with the DVRV plan. Party in Sarasota Tuesday night. Register like hell on Wednesday. ACORN in Orlando, and then to South Beach to seal the deal and get Bush outta DC and back to ranchin'.
